We're pleased to welcome Bill Easton as Head of Product at Pydantic.

Bill joins us from Elastic, where he led the product organization responsible for OpenTelemetry, providing secure and reliable collection and ingestion of infrastructure and application telemetry. Before Elastic, he worked in Product at Amazon and as the Chief Technology Officer at Verve Industrial Protection, where he built and led teams delivering security and observability solutions for some of the world's most critical infrastructure.

He's no stranger to the Pydantic ecosystem. Bill is a maintainer of FastMCP, the most popular Python framework for MCP, and a regular contributor to Pydantic AI. He's been building with our tools and shaping the community from the outside. Now he'll do it from the inside.

Bill has spent his career at the intersection of observability, security, and developer experience, building products that scale to the largest production environments. That's exactly the problem space we're in, what makes him the right fit for Pydantic.

> "Bill's been shipping observability and security products at serious scale for over a decade. He's also a FastMCP maintainer and a regular contributor to Pydantic AI, so he already knows the stack and the community. That combination is hard to find."
